Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Yes I Do Bridal

At Yes I Do Bridal, our goal is to provide every bride with a luxurious, seamless, and memorable experience. To ensure clarity and fairness for all parties, please review the following Terms & Conditions before reserving or collecting a gown.

1. Rental Packages & Pricing

Wedding gown rentals start from ₦100,000, with options including standard rentals, First-Wear luxury rentals, and selected gowns available for sale.

Standard gown rental may include:

  • Wedding gown

  • Petticoat (underskirt)

  • Veil (subject to package selected)

Bridal accessories such as bouquets, tiaras, jewellery, robes, and other styling items may be available as optional add-ons.

2. Fitting Appointments

Fittings are by appointment to ensure every bride receives dedicated attention.

  • A fitting fee may apply.

  • Fitting fees are non-refundable.

  • If a gown is booked during the fitting appointment, the fitting fee may be credited toward the booking at the discretion of Yes I Do Bridal.

  • Appointment slots are reserved exclusively for each bride.

3. Security Deposit

A refundable caution deposit is required before collection.

Current deposit requirements are:

  • ₦50,000 for rental gowns.

  • From ₦100,000 for First-Wear, brand-new, or premium gowns.

The caution deposit will be refunded within 2 business days following inspection of all returned items, provided:

  • Items are returned on time.

  • Items are complete.

  • Items are returned in good condition.

Deductions may apply where items are returned with damage, missing components, excessive soiling, or stains requiring specialist treatment.

4. Identification Requirement

Before collection, clients must provide:

  • A valid government-issued identification document.

  • Wedding invitation or wedding confirmation details when requested.

5. Alterations

Minor alterations requested by the bride may be available at an additional cost.

The following are strictly prohibited without written approval from Yes I Do Bridal:

  • Cutting fabric

  • Removing embellishments

  • Altering structure or silhouette

  • Permanent modifications of any kind

Clients may be charged for restoration or replacement where unauthorized alterations occur.

6. First-Wear & Brand-New Gowns

First-Wear gowns are brand-new gowns being worn by a bride for the first time.

Once reserved, these gowns are removed from availability for other clients.

Additional deposits, fitting requirements, or conditions may apply to First-Wear bookings.

7. Cancellation Policy

We understand that wedding plans can change.

Cancellation refunds are as follows:

  • More than 6 weeks before wedding date: 70% refund.

  • Between 6 weeks and 2 weeks before wedding date: 30% refund.

  • Less than 2 weeks before wedding date: Non-refundable.

Any alteration, customization, or special-order costs already incurred may be deducted from any applicable refund.

8. Collection & Return

Lagos Weddings

  • Collection: Up to 2 days before the wedding.

  • Return: Within 48 hours after the wedding.

Weddings Outside Lagos

  • Collection: Up to 7 days before the wedding.

  • Return: Within 48 hours after the wedding through an approved courier service.

A waybill receipt serves as proof of return.

Late returns attract a penalty of ₦10,000 per day.

All items must be returned in the garment bag provided.

9. Courier & Dispatch Policy

For brides outside Lagos, gowns are carefully packaged and released in excellent condition.

Clients may use:

  • GIG Logistics

  • GUO Transport

  • Other approved logistics providers

Once an item has been handed over to a courier company or client-appointed dispatch rider, responsibility for transportation, delays, loss, or damage rests with the courier provider.

10. Damage, Loss & Care of Gowns

To preserve gown quality:

  • Gowns must not be washed by clients.

  • Gowns must not be ironed by clients.

  • Gowns must not be dry-cleaned by clients.

  • Gowns must be stored carefully before and after use.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Tears

  • Burns

  • Broken zippers

  • Missing embellishments

  • Missing accessories

  • Excessive mud damage

  • Makeup damage

  • Wine stains

  • Oil stains

  • Blood stains

  • Other irreversible stains

Where damage is beyond repair, the replacement value of the gown or accessory will be charged.

If a gown or accessory is not returned within 7 days after the wedding date, it may be treated as lost and the full replacement value may become immediately payable.

11. Privacy

Client information is handled with care and used solely for business operations, customer service, and booking administration.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a fitting, reserving a gown, making payment, or collecting a gown from Yes I Do Bridal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
